Did You Know?
  • From 1967 until 1990 an array of ten aluminum horns played the first four notes of "O Canada" from the building's roof at noon each day. This was part of the Canada Centennial celebration. There were ten horns to represent the number of Canadian provinces at the time.
Green Things
  • The building has a narrow profile because Dal Grauer, the former president of B.C. Electric, insisted that his company be able to place all office desks within 15 feet of a window.
