  • At the time of its completion, this was the tallest building in Vancouver.

  • This is the third "Hotel Vancouver" in this city.
  • The first Hotel Vancouver was open from 1887 to 1916. It was a five-story brick building that looked like a farm house.
  • The second Hotel Vancouver was built from 1912 to 1916 and open from 1916 to 1939. It became a government building after 1939, and was torn down in 1949.
