Ms. Schmit, Twilight brings many needed dollars to a financially depressed timber area. While in the area, many of these same tourists visit other attractions (the beautiful beaches, rain forests, timber museum, etc), spend money and buy local wares. What the tourists do not want to see are area upon area of tree stumps where there were once beautiful forests. Without these MUCH needed dollars for the local economy, you might not have the opportunity to do whatever it is YOU might be doing to help boost the local economy.

Forks should have a theater at least opened on weekends. I would love to see the forum show pictures of the theater when it was first built.

Glad to see the old eyesore is gone. Rebuild it, but DO NOT show Twilight movies. Twilight is horrible and the tourists for Twilight have lost touch with reality. As have some of the local residents and most businesses here. Forks heritage is logging and the forests, not sparkling vampires and good looking indian werewolves. We need to get back to the real heritage and what Forks is really all about instead of this fantasy about sparkling vampires. And, if I want to use as many exlamation points as I want to, I will! (keeps telling me I am using to many). That's crap. They are to express yourself in the proper manner.

Please fix this building up and start showing Twilight movies to all the visiters and teens. It's another potential moneymaker. Many places have old neon signs that could be bought and added to dress it up a bit.
