Like some kind of Medeterranean castle rising along Third Avenue, this building is one of the most flamboyant in the neighborhood. From the Spanish tiles lining the roof to the simulated California mission styling of its faux bell towers, and the double-height arched bays surrounded by mosaic tiles, this is a building screaming to be looked at.

When it opened, this building was used to print the Daily Racing Form, but that didn't last too long. Within a decade the building was being used as a warehouse. Since then it has alternated between short-term commercial use and long-term vacancy, which is a shame considering its unique look, and very good location.
