What could have been another boring rectangular skyscraper has been livened up through the use of interesting windows and open balconies.

The tower's windows are grouped together in pods of three, and many, but not all, of these pods protrude from the interior of the building. The futuristic bay windows make the whole structure look like some kind of space ship covered with escape modules.

The design of the building's balconies make it a favorite with photographers. When viewed from a cardinal direction, the building is rotated by 45-degrees. The balconies are on the corners of the tower, and so allow light to pass trough up and down the visible edges of the building. In the sunrise or sunset it looks like a giant toy with many handles up and down its sides.

Sadly, this building is colored a gloomy greyish brown, so it does little to lighten up a skyline already competing with stereotypically cloudy weather. But the good news is that the large five-story parking and retail podium upon which it rests keeps the building mostly hidden from pedestrians, while providing needed neighborhood services.
