Event though this is one of the older buildings in the Belltown neighborhood, it is also one of the more outstanding structures. It is divided into three bays by piers faced with decorative brick in shades of red and orange, arranged in a geometric pattern. These piers rise to what could otherwise be called a clerestory, if the arches weren't also filled in with decorative brick, punctuated by diamond shapes above each pier.

Inside the bays, the showcase windows are topped by a row of windows with decorative tracery mimicking the brick arches above. The darkness of the window frames contrasts with the lightness of the red and orange brick, making the bays seem larger, wider, and deeper than they really are.
